Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking team members to work in multiple departments including Deli, Meat & Seafood, Bakery, Grocery, Produce & Floral, and Front-End. The position pays between $18.19 and $19.40 per hour, with benefits that include discounts and a 401K match.

Locations include Illinois; candidates should be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, days, evenings, and holidays. Prior retail or hospitality experience is valued.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all deli products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Follow all The Fresh Market policies, food safety requirements, and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
