The Fresh Market is seeking a Deli Specialist to ensure deli department excellence, maintain freshness, merchandising accuracy, and food safety compliance. You will support inventory accuracy, rotation standards, and department readiness for promotions and seasonal events.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in retail or hospitality and can engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach while executing accurate signage and planograms.

Qualifications

• Must have 1+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure deli products meet freshness and quality standards with proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with leadership on ordering and replenishment of deli items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, with proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Support compliance during item transitions and promotions.
• Follow all policies, food safety requirements and sanitation procedures.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
