Job summary

You will order and maintain inventory, verify received orders, supervise stocking and production, and ensure product freshness and proper rotation, while aligning with advertised items and store deals.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate (Required) or Equivalent (GED).
• Two years of retail experience preferred.
• One-year supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication, and bookkeeping skills.
• Good organization, prioritization, decision-making, problem solving and conflict management skills.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint; Spanish desirable depending on location.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day department operations in a retail store.
• Order and maintain inventory, ensuring freshness and quality.
• Review received orders for amount, quality, count or weight, and condition.
• Manage a team that handles stocking, production, and related tasks.
• Maintain familiarity with products and store promotions.
• Communicate and execute weekly Flight Plans to company standards.
• Utilize scheduling tools to manage staffing and payroll in the department.
• Implement core values and company policies; develop staff and monitor goals.
• Ensure food safety and safety guidelines are followed across the store.
