Job summary

Kj’s Market is hiring a friendly team member for its deli department in a fast-paced store environment. You will deliver outstanding guest service, support product quality, and assist with preparation, receiving, stocking, and guest interactions on the shop floor.

The role requires the ability to lift up to 25 lbs regularly and up to 50 lbs occasionally, plus reading directions and following safety standards. On-site, with opportunities for growth and promotion.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Must be able to actively engage guests.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Knowledge of deli and chicken kitchen operations.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements.
• Effective communication, guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.
• Ability to take direction from supervision.

Responsibilities

• To demonstrate superior guest service personally always.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking, and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform PA announcements.
