Job summary

Good Food Store in Missoula, MT is hiring a full-time deli cook to prepare and cook a wide variety of menu items in a high-volume setting. Shifts run 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm, 40 hours per week, with some schedule changes possible.

You will stock, rotate, and present deli items, and ensure food safety and quality across all duties. Mandatory interactions with customers, adherence to portioning standards, and participation in department meetings are required.

Qualifications

• High School education or GED preferred, but not required.
• Experience cooking for a deli, restaurant, or catering business preferred.
• Ability to operate professional kitchen equipment and maintain food safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a wide variety of menu items in large quantities following Kitchen Manager specifications.
• Follow portion control rules and production lists.
• Stock and maintain retail coolers and shelves with appealing displays.
• Greet and assist customers on the retail floor and handle feedback.
• Attend deli department and storewide meetings.
