We are looking for a DELI COOK ASSOCIATE to join our Rowe's team.

This position involves preparing hot and cold deli foods, catering, and delivery orders. The role promotes customer service by taking and fulfilling customer requests and maintaining attractive product presentation.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional service, including greeting customers and answering questions with a positive attitude.
• Prepare hot food.
• Operate deli equipment such as slicers, ovens, fryers, microwaves, and cutting tools.
• Ensure food safety procedures are followed, monitor product temperatures, and maintain sanitation and freshness standards.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
• Follow store policies and procedures.
• Support the overall success of the store.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years of age.
• Ability to deliver friendly and prompt customer service.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic math.
• Ability to follow instructions.
• Teamwork skills and a passion for serving others.
• Food prep experience is preferred.

Physical & Sensory Demands:

Deli cooks work mainly in the Deli section, involving walking, bending, standing, lifting up to 60 lbs, and interacting with customers and colleagues. Exposure to hot surfaces, extreme temperatures, and cleaning agents is common.
