Job summary

A convenience store operator located in New York is looking for associates for a quick service restaurant/deli. Candidates will prepare customer orders, maintain kitchen cleanliness, and provide exceptional customer service. Applicants should preferably have a high school diploma or GED, demonstrate reliability, and possess good customer service skills. Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers effectively.
• Prepare food and beverage orders accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and service areas.
• Accurately prepare deli food and specialty beverage orders
• Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues
• Chop, dice, slice, mix, and otherwise prepare ingredients
• Count and weigh product; calculate basic math involving decimals and fractions
• Visually identify unsatisfactory food product and remove it from service
• Follow logging procedures including time/temperature and inventory documentation
• Clean and maintain equipment, wares, and utensils according to safety regulations and company policies
• Maintain coolers, dry storage, kitchen, and prep areas in a clean and organized fashion
• Maintain site appearance standards, including basic housekeeping and cleaning tasks
• Consistently uphold all health and safety standards
• Comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations
• Other duties as required
