Job description

Assist the manager with daily operating procedures, maximize financial contribution, and supervise associate development. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety for oneself and others.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service.
  2. Train and develop associates to demonstrate all customer service and operating standards.
  3. Verify that corporate policies, store operating standards, and procedures are communicated effectively, maintained, and consistently followed.
  4. Demonstrate and verify adherence to all Starbucks standards.
  5. Maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products.
  6. Perform and oversee the completion of cleaning and operational tasks according to the store duty rosters.
  7. Ensure compliance with merchandising, stocking, rotating, product storage, ordering, and markdown standards.
  8. Assist in kiosk scheduling and adjust staffing to meet store and business needs.
  9. Verify accurate and consistent cash handling and register functions.
  10. Ensure proper ordering and stocking of materials, supplies, and merchandise.
  11. Communicate new product information effectively to associates.
  12. Complete accurate, timely reports as required.
  13. Successfully complete and implement advanced store training.
  14. Manage store areas such as break rooms and training areas to ensure they are inviting and reflect the company's values.
  15. Supervise and coach direct reports, conduct performance reviews, and provide feedback.
  16. Perform essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
Qualifications

Minimum

  • High school diploma or GED, plus 1-2 years of customer service experience and 6 months of management experience, or relevant education and experience.
  • Minimum age of 18 (19 in Idaho).
  • Ability to pass a drug test.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, including weekends and any shift.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks and projects.
  • Relevant licenses or certificates as required by law.
  • Knowledge of company policies, procedures, and organizational structure.
  • Related experience.
