Assist manager with daily operating procedures, maximize financial contribution, and supervise associate development. Role model and demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of self and others.

Responsibilities
  1. Deliver and encourage other associates to deliver excellent customer service
  2. Assist managers in hiring new associates
  3. Train and develop associates to demonstrate all customer service and operating standards
  4. Verify corporate policies, store operating standards, and procedures are communicated effectively and maintained and followed in a consistent manner
  5. Demonstrate and verify all Starbucks standards are followed
  6. Maintain health, safety, and sanitation guidelines for all products
  7. Perform and direct others to complete cleaning and operational tasks in accordance with store duty rosters
  8. Comply with merchandising, stocking, rotating, product storage, ordering, and markdown standards
  9. Assist in kiosk scheduling and adjust staffing to meet store and business needs
  10. Verify all cash handling and register functions are performed accurately and consistently
  11. Verify proper ordering and stocking of materials, supplies, and merchandise
  12. Communicate new product information effectively to associates
  13. Complete accurate, timely reports as required
  14. Successfully complete and implement advanced store training
  15. Manage common associate areas to ensure they are inviting and reflect "Our People Are Great"
  16. Supervise and coach direct reports, complete performance reviews, and provide feedback
  17. Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations
Qualifications
Minimum
  • High school diploma or GED, plus 1-2 years' customer service experience and 6 months management experience, or relevant education and experience
  • Minimum 18 years old (19 in Idaho)
  • Ability to pass a drug test
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work weekends and any shift
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks
  • Barista certification
  • Any required federal or state licenses or certificates
