Job Summary

Prepare, package, weigh, and sell various deli products such as meats and cheeses. Maintain the presentation and cleanliness of the deli, including display cases. Assist members in the deli department.

Club Standards

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality customer service, answer questions, and assist with product selection.
• Slice, package, and weigh deli products; assist with special orders and samples.
• Receive, inspect, and display deli shipments, ensuring product freshness and quality.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of equipment and surfaces.
• Ensure accurate weighing and pricing of items.
• Follow all club policies and perform other duties as assigned, including cross-departmental support.
• Maintain full attendance as a key job requirement.

Qualifications

• Preferred experience in a deli department.
• Experience with manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Environmental Conditions

• Frequent movement on hard surfaces, including bending, reaching, and handling merchandise.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly; heavier objects with assistance.
• Indoor environment with exposure to temperature extremes and cleaning agents.

The estimated starting pay for this position is $17.25, with actual salary based on various non-discriminatory factors including location, experience, and qualifications.
