Qualifications

• Ability to deal tactfully with guests and staff.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety requirements and policies.
• Ability to operate safety training and deli equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist guests with locating items on or off the sales floor.
• Receive, prepare and fulfill guest orders and other special requests.
• Professionally answer Deli Department telephone calls.
• Maintain food safety logs and quality controls.
• Monitor temperatures and replenish deli products on display.
• Keep deli inventory and supplies organized and stocked.
• Ensure attendance and schedule adherence; plan replacements when needed.
