Job summary

Festival Foods is hiring a Part-Time Deli Clerk in West Allis, WI. The role reports to the Deli Manager and requires availability mornings (6am–2pm). You will assist guests with food selections, prep deli items, and ensure quality, safety, and efficiency in a fast-paced grocery setting.

You’ll handle guest interactions, item location, order fulfillment, and safety compliance while supporting a collaborative team. Flexible schedule and competitive part-time benefits accompany this role.

What You’ll Do:

As a Deli Clerk at Festival Foods, your responsibilities will include:

• Provide Helpful Service: Providing excellent guest service is at the heart of what we do. Whether it’s a friendly greeting, answering questions or addressing guest concerns, you’ll handle each interaction with professionalism and care. Your willingness to help guests with what they need will make a positive impact every day.
• Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items on or off the sales floor and professionally answer the Deli Department telephone.
• Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
• Customer Service: Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly using the boomerang principle to ensure a positive experience.
• Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish all deli products on display to ensure high standards.
• Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels in the deli storage, including containers, lids, spoons, tags, and more.
• Food Safety: Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to all safety standards.
• Efficiency: Ensure all quality standards, including quantity expectations, are met by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
• Honor Commitments: Regular, timely attendance in compliance with the work schedule, and adequate notice to find a replacement for occasional absences
• Support the Team:Other duties as assigned
