Job Title: Deli Clerk (Part Time) - PM Shifts

Reports To: Deli Manager

Are you passionate about food service and enjoy providing customers (we call them guests!) with delicious meal options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner? We are seeking a Deli Clerk to join our team in our retail grocery store environment, where you'll play a crucial role in food preparation and guest service.

At Festival Foods, we aim to make mealtime easier and more enjoyable for our guests. Whether they're grabbing a quick lunch, a side dish, a dinner option, or feeding a crowd, our deli has them covered.

Job Description

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide Helpful Service: Offer excellent guest service through friendly greetings, answering questions, and addressing concerns professionally. Your helpful attitude will make a positive impact daily.
  • Guest Assistance: Help guests locate items and answer the Deli Department telephone professionally.
  • Order Fulfillment: Receive, prepare, and fulfill guest orders and special requests with attention to detail and quality.
  • Customer Service: Address guest concerns and resolve issues promptly to ensure a positive experience.
  • Quality Control: Inspect, rotate, maintain proper temperatures, and replenish deli products to meet high standards.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain proper inventory levels in deli storage, including containers, lids, spoons, tags, etc.
  • Food Safety: Lead by example in maintaining food safety logs and adhering to safety standards.
  • Efficiency: Meet quality standards, including quantity expectations, by 10 am and 5 pm daily.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular, timely attendance and provide adequate notice for absences.
  • Support the Team: Perform other duties as assigned.
