Price Chopper in Missouri is seeking a dependable Deli Clerk to join our team. You will prepare fresh deli offerings, slice and package deli meats and cheeses, and deliver a friendly, efficient service experience for guests.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Preferred: Experience in grocery, retail, or food service environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly guest service at all times to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Prepare, slice, and package deli meats and cheeses to order following food safety procedures.
• Prepare, cook, and stock deli items such as rotisserie chicken, salads, hot bar items, and grab-and-go meals.
• Maintain product freshness, labeling, and visual merchandising in deli displays.
• Engage with guests to answer questions and offer meal solutions.
• Develop knowledge of deli products, pricing, and location.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and personal hygiene guidelines.
• Operate deli equipment and POS systems accurately.
• Stock, rotate, and face products using FIFO methods.
• Monitor inventory levels and report low or damaged items.
• Communicate with teammates and collaborate across departments.
• Adhere to company policies and assist with loss prevention.
• Assist with cleaning, restocking, and supporting other departments as needed.
• Remain productive during slower periods by maintaining department readiness.
