Job summary

Meijer Inc. in Michigan is hiring a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You’ll help customers find products, answer questions, stock and rotate displays, and keep areas clean and organized, while using store technology to complete tasks accurately.

Qualifications

Retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service.
Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing displays.
Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
Assist with other tasks to keep store operations running smoothly.
