Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Deli Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining a safe, clean deli area. You will assist the department in achieving sales goals and uphold Kroger’s values of respect, integrity, and safety.

Responsibilities include food preparation for the deli, labeling and rotation, answering customer questions, and ensuring quality and freshness with strict food safety adherence.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food items for the deli case per customer requests.
• Measure and mix ingredients using kitchen utensils and equipment.
• Label, date, rotate, and monitor deli items for quality and freshness.
• Know products in the deli department and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Provide excellent customer service and practice suggestive selling.
• Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership.
