The Kroger Co. is seeking a Deli Clerk in McFarland, WI to deliver an outstanding customer experience through friendly, efficient service. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming deli area that keeps customers coming back.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience or aptitude
• Interest in learning food production and basic cooking techniques
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with urgency
• Solid basic math skills
• Ability to obtain a current food handlers permit once employed

Responsabilités

• Prepare deli items per customer requests for cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars
• Measure, prepare, and mix ingredients per recipes using kitchen tools
• Ensure all deli items are labeled, dated, rotated, and kept fresh
• Gain and maintain knowledge of deli products and answer questions with recommendations
• Provide excellent customer service and utilize suggestive selling techniques
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by store leadership
