BJ’s Wholesale Club, Inc. is hiring a Full-Time Deli Clerk in Chesterfield, MI. The role involves slicing, packaging, weighing, and selling deli products while maintaining a clean, well-stocked display and providing friendly Member service.

Responsibilities include handling shipments, ensuring freshness, assisting Members with product selection, and maintaining food safety standards in a fast-paced environment. Must be 18+ and able to work flexibly with weekly pay opportunities.

Qualifications

• Work experience in a deli department preferred.
• Prior experience operating manual/power slicers and scales preferred.
• Knowledge of deli products preferred.
• At least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Provides a high level of customer service to Members. Answers questions and recommends deli items.
• Slices, packages, and weighs deli products, including cheeses and meats. Helps Members select the correct products.
• Receives and inspects deli shipments. Displays, stocks, rotate, and stores deli products following food safety and product handling policies.
• Works with deli equipment safely; cleans and sanitizes deli equipment and surfaces.
• Maintains deli display cases and ensures accurate weighing and pricing.
