Role Overview

The Deli Clerk contributes by delivering exceptional customer service and preparing food across all areas including the deli, juice bar, pizza/sandwich, and hot bar. They maintain an attractive sales floor, verify signage and pricing, and ensure cleanliness and organization of the department, fixtures, storage, workstations, freezers, and coolers.

Preferred Knowledge and Experience

• Previous experience with food preparation or cooking in a restaurant, bakery, or catering environment is preferred.
• Experience in retail or customer service environments is preferred.

Environmental Conditions & Physical Demands

• Work in a fast-paced environment focused on customer service.
• May work in cold environments.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, reach, stoop, kneel, squat, push, pull, and maneuver heavy loads.
• Must stand and be on feet throughout the workday.
