Job summary

Rosen Shingle Creek is seeking a part-time Deli Cashier to monitor the Deli Outlet, stock merchandise, and perform cashiering responsibilities while providing a friendly atmosphere for guests and associates. Primary duties include collecting payments and maintaining accurate cash handling procedures.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, stocking inventory, keeping a clean area, and reporting comments to management.

Qualifications

• Previous cash handling or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs consistently and 50 lbs infrequently.
• Must be able to legally work in the USA.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
• Stock and rotate merchandise; report low inventory.
• Maintain a neat, clean, and organized work area.
• Relay all guest comments or concerns to management or the supervisor on duty.
• Assist in other departments as necessary.
• Assist with monthly inventory.
• Stock all condiments.
• Take out the trash at the cashier's station.
• Be aware of all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Be aware of all standard menu items and prices; daily specials and group discounts.
• Complete proper paperwork about cash handling such as cash out reports, drop logs, voids.
• Report lost and found items.
• Sell and handle alcohol.
• Comply with drug-free and nicotine-free policy.

Summary:

The Deli Cashier helps monitor the Deli Outlet as they clean, stock, and perform cashiering responsibilities. They provide a friendly, courteous, and helpful atmosphere for guests and associates. Their primary responsibility is collection of payment from customers.

Experience/Qualifications:

Education and Certification(s)/License(s):

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
