Job summary

Walmart in California’s La Quinta location is seeking a Deli/Bakery associate to help customers, prepare fresh products, and maintain food safety across departments. You’ll engage with customers at the service counter and move merchandise to the sales floor.

The role offers part-time hours with shifts starting between 8:00am–11:00am or 1:00pm–4:00pm and an hourly wage of $19.00–$32.00. Benefits include health coverage and other Walmart programs; Live Better U education benefits and paid time off

Qualifications

• Experience supporting customers in a grocery environment and maintaining food safety standards.
• Knowledge of handling fresh foods and maintaining product quality.

Responsibilities

• Help customers find the products they are looking for.
• Ensure high quality products in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments.
• Pack ready-to-sell products and stock displays.
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food; assist with cakes and deli orders.
• Keep work area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready.
