Job summary

Kj's Market is seeking a part-time team member to greet guests, assist with product preparation, and maintain freshness across departments. This role supports both front-end and in-store operations, including announcing specials and assisting with product receiving.

A positive, customer-minded approach is essential to fit into the friendly store culture. Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation, lifting up to 25 lbs regularly, and collaborating with management to address guest requests

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Ability to read and understand information and direction.
• Effective communication and guest service skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, baking, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform front end duties to insure guest arrival standard is maintained.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
