Job summary

Food Lion in Livingston, TN is seeking a Deli/Bakery Associate to deliver fast, friendly customer service and maintain department standards. You will handle product labeling, display, sanitation, and safe food handling while following company guidelines and CBT training.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, performing stocking and prep tasks, using ACIS/CAO tools, and upholding safety, quality, and dress code requirements in a diverse retail setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.

Responsibilities

• Provide fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Follow all manuals for processing of product, label placement, etc.
• Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with policies and guidelines.
• Ensures proper sanitation of department, equipment and proper food handling/preparation.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Maintain a complete understanding of and adherence to company guidelines, policies and standard practice.
• Understand and follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause accidents.
• Report all accidents in accordance with established procedures to the Manager on Duty.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge, neat appearance and dress code.
• Complete Computer Based Training (CBT) and trainings.
