IGA Southeast in Augusta, GA is seeking a Deli Department supervisor to lead the deli team and ensure guests receive friendly service while helping achieve sales goals. You will manage inventory, train staff, and uphold quality and safety standards in a fast-paced retail deli environment.

Responsibilities include ordering, scheduling, maintaining product quality, and enforcing merchandising guidelines. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure guests receive polite, friendly service from the deli/bakery department staff.
• Achieve budgeted sales, shrink and profits for the deli/bakery department.
• Maintain desired level of inventory and supplies.
• Operate the department according to merchandising and operational guidelines and programs.
• Ensure the quality of product for sale meets Floco Foods standards.
• Maintain sanitation and safety throughout the department according to Floco Foods standards.
• Provide guidance, orientation, training and feedback to ensure deli department employees achieve satisfactory performance standards.
• Perform product preparation, receiving, ordering, stocking and guest service as necessary to achieve standards.
• Maintain department’s labor budget and scheduling standards.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Performs PA announcements.
