Job summary

Coborn’s, Inc. is seeking a capable Deli/Bakery Supervisor to assist in the department management in the absence of the Department Manager. You will lead Deli & Bakery staff, ensure freshness of salad and sliced meat products, and deliver consistent guest service.

The role also involves training new employees, answering phones, taking special orders, engaging guests with product samples, stocking displays, and upholding health, safety, and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Assist in deli/bakery department management in the absence of the Department Manager.
• Lead Deli & Bakery staff and ensure exceptional guest service.
• Ensure freshness and quality of salads, sliced meats, and bakery items.
• Answer phones and take special orders; train new employees.
• Educate and assist guests at the Deli/Bakery counter; engage guests with samples and suggestive selling.
• Keep display cases fully stocked; adhere to health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
