Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service within our Fresh departments. You will share product knowledge, assist customers, and maintain clean, well-stocked displays in a fast-paced environment.

Weekend and evening availability is required. Prior retail or food service experience is helpful but not required, with ongoing opportunities for growth and education support. Join our family and contribute to communities across Michigan and surrounding states.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
