Meijer is a family company serving people and communities. As a Food Clerk, you will deliver remarkable customer service, maintain fresh displays, and help customers find what they need in our Fresh departments.

You will build positive connections, stock and merchandise, and work across departments like Meat, Produce, Bakery, and Grocery to ensure a welcoming store experience. Prior retail experience is helpful but not required.

Qualificações

• Experience in customer service or retail is helpful but not required.
• Ability to learn product recommendations and answer customer questions.
• Ability to maintain clean, organized displays and follow store procedures.

What You'll Do

As a Food Clerk, you play a key role in creating a fresh, welcoming, and well‑run store experience within our Fresh departments.

You'll:

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need

• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards

• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately

• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures

• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery

• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
