Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Follow all technical manuals for processing of product, label placement, etc.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise per policies and guidelines.
• Ensure proper sanitation of department, equipment and proper food handling/preparation.
• Understand and use company tools such as ACIS and CAO.
• Maintain understanding of and adhere to company guidelines and standard practice.
• Follow Food Safety and Workplace Safety guidelines and procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions that could cause accidents.
• Report accidents to the Manager on Duty per procedures.
• Ensure compliance with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform with name badge, neat appearance, and dress code adherence.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
