Food Lion in Waynesboro, VA is seeking a Deli Bakery Associate to provide quality customer service and uphold department standards as outlined in the standard practice manual. You will assist customers, help with product ordering, receiving, preparation, labeling, and display, while maintaining sanitation and proper food handling.

This role requires the ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and follow safety guidelines; uniform and CBT trainings are part of the position.

Formación

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Assist customers and fellow associates in a courteous manner.
• Follow all technical manuals for processing of product and label placement.
• Ensure ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise per guidelines.
• Maintain sanitation and proper food handling in the deli bakery area.
• Adhere to company policies, standard practice and safety guidelines.
• Operate company tools such as ACIS and CAO as required.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform and name badge while on duty.
