Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver friendly, knowledgeable service in our Fresh departments. You’ll engage customers, stock displays, and maintain clean, inviting aisles to create a positive shopping experience.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment, using product knowledge and technology to assist customers, maintain displays, and ensure food safety. This role emphasizes teamwork and customer care within a family-like store culture.

Responsibilities

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
