Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Food Clerk to deliver exceptional customer service, share product knowledge, and maintain attractive, organized store displays. You will stock and rotate items, assist customers across Fresh departments, and use store technology to complete tasks accurately.

Ideal candidates bring a friendly, customer-first mindset and are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment. Previous retail or food service experience is helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates.
• Share product knowledge and help customers find what they need.
• Maintain full, fresh, and visually appealing product displays.
• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards.
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures.
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
