Job summary

Kj’s Market is seeking a friendly part-time team member to greet guests, help with product preparation (frying, cutting, slicing, weighing, pricing), and keep displays stocked and appealing. You will maintain product quality and freshness, support sanitation in the cooler, prep areas and sales floor, and communicate guest needs to management.

The role includes front-end duties to ensure a smooth guest arrival experience, announcing specials on the PA system, receiving and storing products, and

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Able to lift 25 lbs regularly; 50 lbs occasionally.
• Able to read and understand information and directions.
• Effective guest service and selling skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite, friendly greetings and interactions with guests.
• Prepare products for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, baking, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain product quality and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the cooler, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guest requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy at all times.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Perform front-end duties to ensure guest arrival standards.
• Announce specials and sale information on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
