Job summary

Kj’s Market is seeking a part-time associate to greet guests, assist with product prep, maintain freshness, and support front-end operations. The role emphasizes friendly service, proper sanitation, and teamwork in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Ideal candidates are at least 18 years old, able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, and capable of bending, kneeling, and standing for extended periods; flexible scheduling is offered.

Qualifications

• Friendly, outgoing personality with guest-service focus.
• Ability to lift 25 lb consistently and 50 lb occasionally.
• Ability to read and understand information and directions.
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to bend, kneel and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide polite greetings and friendly guest interactions.
• Prepare product for sale (frying, cutting, slicing, baking, weighing, pricing).
• Maintain product level, quality and freshness.
• Maintain sanitation in the cooler, freezer, prep area and sales area.
• Communicate guests' requests to management.
• Communicate temperature breakdowns to supervisor.
• Keep supply area neat, clean and tidy.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by management.
• Front-end duties to maintain guests arrival standards.
• Announce specials and sale info on the PA system.
• Assist in product receiving and storage.
