Minimum qualifications:

  • Excellent oral/written communication skills
  • Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
  • Ability to handle stressful situations
  • Current food handlers permit once employed

Desired qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Any management experience
  • Any deli/retail experience
  • Second language (speaking, reading, and/or writing)

Key responsibilities include promoting trust and respect among associates, communicating company and department information, establishing and achieving performance goals, managing customer volume, training and developing staff, creating a welcoming environment for customers, inspecting product quality, developing business plans, executing sales promotions, managing budgets and inventory, ensuring safety compliance, and acting with integrity in all dealings.
