Job summary

Brock & Company is seeking a Deli Associate to manage a high-volume station providing made-to-order sandwiches, paninis and wraps for cafe and catering orders. You will set up, stock, label, and date products, and maintain a clean, safe work area in strict compliance with health and safety guidelines.

The role emphasizes exceptional customer service, ability to multitask, and proficiency with slicers and related tools. This is a full-time, hourly position requiring standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Motivated multi-tasker who enjoys customer service.
• Experience with the assembly, operation and disassembly of meat and cheese slicers.
• Knife skills and familiarity with related utensils and equipment including food processor and robocoupe.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Able to move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
• Adhere to COVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• The Deli Associate will be responsible for the set-up, maintenance and breakdown of the station and will prepare, stock, label and date all products for the station.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and follow all health and safety regulations.
• Stand for extended periods of time.
• Move objects approximately 35 lbs. to waist height.
• Adhere to client and company protocols related toCOVID-19 workplace safety and sanitation standards.
• Provide exceptional customer service in a courteous, helpful and friendly manner.
