DuPont is seeking an experienced Delegated Supplier Quality Representative to join our Valley View, OH site. You will act as the primary liaison between DuPont and customers on quality matters, manage final product releases, and ensure lot-by-lot compliance with specifications.

You will interpret customer requirements, perform audits, support internal and supplier audits, and assist Quality Engineering as needed in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Qualifications

• Certification as Delegated Customer Quality Representative or ability to obtain SAE AS13001 Release Verification Certification.
• ASQ-CQT Certification or higher.
• Minimum 3 years in an AS9100 manufacturing environment with responsibility for product acceptance and rejection, including hands-on inspection; ability to read engineering drawings and customer specs.

• Perform contract reviews, product and process quality plans, and standard work to assure conformance to requirements.
• Utilize inspection techniques to audit processes for quality compliance.
• Prepare and facilitate First Article Inspection.
• Support Internal Audit, Process Audits, and customer audits as required.
• Review manufacturing planning documentation and implement customer requirements.
• Assist Quality Engineering with tasks as needed.
• Other duties as assigned.

DuPont has an immediate opening for an experienced Delegated Supplier Quality Representative at our Valley View, OH site!

The Delegated Supplier Quality Representative (DSQR) supports the organization through primarily serving as a delegated customer release agent. This role ensures product and process compliance throughout manufacturing and final product release by utilizing inspection and system review techniques.

The DSQR may be responsible for providing technical support to the management of customer programs and other relevant functions, with respect to the quality of products and product-related services provided by Dupont.

This support may include acting as liaison to government and customer representatives and coordinating all Quality functions as they relate to specific programs. Responsible for flow-down of quality requirements and customer specifications to both hourly and salary associates.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary liaison between DuPont and our customers regarding quality-related matters, ensuring clear communication and effective resolution of any issues that may arise.

• Execute final product release ensuring product and associated documentation conform to defined customer and in-house requirements.

• Responsible for lot-by-lot release for all shipments. Must review each lot for compliance with processing and quality requirements.

• Interpret customer and industry specifications and provide recommendations to Management and Technical teams.

• Execute Contract reviews, product and process quality plans, and standard work that assures conformance to all customer and regulatory requirements.

• Utilize inspection techniques to audit processes to assure compliance with Quality practices and work instructions throughout the facility.

• Prepare and facilitate First Article Inspection.

• Support the Internal Audit process, Process Audits, and customer audits as required.

• Support the review of manufacturing planning documentation and implementation of customer requirements.

• Assist Quality Engineering with tasks as needed.

• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Must have or be able to obtain certification as a Delegated Customer Quality Representative, including SAE AS13001 Release Verification Certification.

• Must be willing to obtain or already possess ASQ-CQT Certification or higher.

• Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an AS9100 manufacturing environment with responsibility for product acceptance and rejection in a Quality Assurance role, including hands-on inspection of manufactured products; proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, customer specifications, and contractual quality requirements; and the ability to utilize inspection equipment, hand tools, and gauges to independently verify product conformity and make acceptance/rejection decisions.

• For internal candidates, must currently hold a Quality Stamp or COP Stamp and be qualified to perform product acceptance activities in accordance with site quality procedures.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general computer usage (Excel, Word, Outlook, Internet, etc.).

• Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong preference will be given to candidates who currently hold, or have previously held, an active DPRV (Designated Product Release Verification) stamp, Delegated Supplier Representative (DSR) authorization, or other delegated customer quality representative approval with Pratt & Whitney, GE Aerospace, Collins Aerospace, Rolls-Royce, or other aerospace OEMs/Tier 1 customers.

• Previous experience executing AS9102 First Article Inspections.

• Previous experience interpreting and applying customer-specific aerospace requirements, specifications, and regulatory standards.

• Previous experience conducting or participating in internal and external audit activities.

• Previous experience using SAP or other enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
