Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Delayer in Findlay, Ohio. You will unwrap and depalletize items, confirm pallet content matches electronic descriptions, and prepare goods for storage. This role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and teamwork in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use technology to confirm pallet content matches the electronic description.
• Remove stretch wrap and move layers of cases from pallets to trays.
• Review, confirm, and adjust weight and quantity in the system; review tray errors.
• Rotate to the Detrash position if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

The Delayer manually unwraps and depalletizes items from pallets to trays to prepare them for storage.

• Pay rate: $19.90 per hour.
• The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday 1:30pm-10:00pm

What You’ll Do As a Delayer

• Use technology to confirm that the physical pallet content matches the electronic description.
• Remove stretch wrap if necessary and move layers of cases from pallets to trays.
• Review, confirm, and make changes to weight and quantity in the system if needed; review tray errors.
• Rotate to the Detrash position if needed.
• Work safely to prevent injury to people and damage to products and equipment.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications You’ll Bring As a Warehouse Teammate

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
