Job summary

Always Best Care Senior Services in Delaware County, PA, is seeking experienced caregivers to support seniors at home. We offer a range of shifts from 1 to 24 hours to fit your schedule, providing compassionate, dependable care that helps clients maintain independence.

Responsibilities include light housekeeping, companionship, meal preparation, and personal care as needed, with additional requirements like TB test and background check.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience working with seniors in home settings.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• English proficiency and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and with different personality types.
• Three references required and ability to pass background check.
• TB/PPD test within the last year; CNA/HHA and BLS/CPR training a plus.
• Must be available every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Provide light housekeeping, sitter care, and meal preparation.
• Assist with personal care tasks as needed, including transfers, dressing, and bathing.

We have a variety of shifts available to fit your work/life balance, from 1-24 hours, over weekends, at night, in the morning, etc. Additional requirements include:

• At least one year of experience working with seniors in a home setting
• Be a resident of Delaware County, PA
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
• English proficiency and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Ability to work with different personality types in a professional manner
• Three references required
• Proof of a clear 2-step TB/PPD test taken within the last year showing clear results
• Must be able to pass background check
• CNA, HHA, and BLS/CPR training a plus
• Must be available every other weekend
