Century Consulting Services, LLC is seeking a part-time Counsel licensed in Delaware to provide expert legal guidance to the executive team and management. The role covers a broad range of corporate, litigation and regulatory matters, including serving as the company’s legal representative in proceedings.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years of experience, a JD, and a track record of leadership with senior executives.

Qualifications

• Must have a JD degree from an accredited law school.
• Must be admitted to the state bar and in good standing to practice law.
• Extensive experience practicing law, often 10+ years, with corporate law, litigation, and regulatory compliance.
• Proven leadership and management experience, particularly with senior executives.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and high ethical standards.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert and strategic legal advice to executives and management on a wide range of matters.
• Manage all legal issues within the organization and act as the company’s legal representative in litigation.
• Prepare, draft, and file pleadings in compliance with Delaware rules and deadlines.
• Manage an assigned caseload with timely handling and proper documentation.
• Conduct monthly reviews of settlements to ensure accuracy and alignment with objectives.
• Perform legal research and stay current on Delaware laws, regulations, and case law.
• Communicate effectively with opposing counsel and Litigation staff on status and strategy.
• Ensure work products meet high standards of quality and confidentiality under Delaware Bar rules.
• Assist with negotiations and settlement discussions as needed.
• Appear at court hearings and other proceedings as required.
