Job summary

Signal Security in Defiance, OH is seeking dedicated Security Officers for part-time, temporary assignments. You will patrol, secure entry points, respond to incidents, and assist employees, residents, or guests while upholding our safety standards and professional image.

These positions are paid as 1099 independent contractors at $30.00–$35.00 per hour. Shifts are scheduled for 11/25 (9 PM–10 AM) and 11/26 (10 AM–10 PM).

Qualifications

• Age 18+
• Clean background check and drug screening
• Personal vehicle required to reside in during shift
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Ability to stand for extended periods

What You'll Do:

• Patrol assigned areas to deter theft, vandalism, and other crimes

• Secure entry points and ensure property safety

• Respond promptly to incidents, alarms, and emergency situations

• Assist employees, residents, or guests with security-related concerns

• Document and report all incidents and irregularities accurately

• Strong customer service skills - our officers engage with the community

• Ability to remain alert and responsive during long shifts

• Ability to work independently and follow established protocols

• Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic

• Reliable transportation to assignments

Position Details:

SHIFTS AVAILABLE ON 11/25 and 11/26

11/25 - 9PM - 10AM

11/26 - 10AM - 10PM

Job Types: Part-time hours available

• Shifts: TEMPORARY EVE/DAY OF HOLIDAY SHIFTS
• HIRED AS 1099 INDEPENDENT EMPLOYEE (NO TAXES UPFRONT!)
• Pay: $30.00 - 35.00 per hour
