Sryantra Capital seeks a curious, English-speaking research analyst to study DeFi protocols, assess risks and economics, and translate findings into actionable investment ideas.

You will track on-chain activity, evaluate token deals, and help shape strategies with quantitative and technical colleagues. Remote work is available with potential moves to Singapore or New York offices for select engagements.

Responsibilities

• Research emerging DeFi protocols and write concise breakdowns of mechanics, risks, and economics.
• Track on-chain strategies across Ethereum, Solana, and other ecosystems; flag sustainable yields.
• Source and evaluate token deals, structured products, and OTC opportunities; present clear recommendations.
• Collaborate with quantitative and technical teams to turn research into deployable strategies.
• Prepare investment memos, pitch materials, and market updates for internal and external audiences.
• Engage with on-chain workflows and governance tools in a professional setting.
• Support partnerships with protocols, traders, and liquidity providers.
• Distill complex ideas into accessible insights for investors and teammates.

You'll sit close to real capital and real decisions, supporting the investment team across the full research cycle - studying protocols, weighing yield and structured-product opportunities, and helping shape analysis into strategies we actually deploy across the digital-asset markets.

What You'll Do

• Research emerging DeFi protocols and write clear, concise breakdowns of their mechanics, risks, and economics.
• Track on-chain strategies across Ethereum, Solana, and other ecosystems, flagging sustainable yield opportunities.
• Source and evaluate token deals, structured products, and OTC opportunities, presenting clear recommendations to the team.
• Partner with quantitative and technical colleagues to turn research into deployable strategies.
• Prepare investment memos, pitch materials, and market updates for internal and external audiences.
• Get hands-on with on-chain workflows - multisigs, dashboards, and governance tools - in a professional setting.
• Help shape partnerships with protocols, trading firms, and liquidity providers.
• Distil complex ideas into accessible insights for investors and non-technical teammates.

What You Bring

• Genuine interest in digital assets, DeFi, and financial markets - curiosity and drive matter more than prior experience.
• Strong analytical and research skills, with clear and concise written output.
• High attention to detail and a real sense of ownership over your work.
• A proactive, independent mindset and the ability to learn quickly in a fast-moving environment.
• Comfort reading market data, liquidity dynamics, and token emissions to inform decisions.
• Familiarity with valuation, derivatives, and yield concepts - or the drive to pick them up fast.
• A confident communicator who builds rapport across finance and crypto.
• Basic coding or data skills (Python/SQL) are a plus, not a requirement.
• Fluency in English is required.
