Job summary

Aleut Federal seeks a Defensive Cyber Warfare (DCW) Subject Matter Expert and Instructor to support the 537 TRS Officer Training Course. You will deliver high‑quality instruction, create realistic hands‑on scenarios, and ensure training aligns with DoD objectives.

The role requires deep cybersecurity operations knowledge, experience in network defense, incident response, threat analysis, and effective translation of complex topics for diverse learners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IT, IA or closely related field.
• Minimum of six years of relevant professional experience in cybersecurity or defensive cyber operations.
• Ability to translate complex cybersecurity concepts for diverse audiences.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Active Top Secret/SCI security clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom-based and hands-on instruction on DCW principles, tools, and procedures.
• Provide instruction on network defense, threat detection, incident response, vulnerability management, and security operations.
• Facilitate practical exercises and scenario-based training to reinforce defensive cyberspace operations.
• Evaluate student performance with assessments, labs, and competencies.
• Adapt teaching to varied student experience and maintain curriculum alignment.
