Job summary

Via Logic LLC is seeking a Defensive Cyber Operations Counter-Measures Engineer to support the GSM-O II program in Riverdale, UT. The successful candidate will engage with multiple stakeholders, deploying cyber defense countermeasures, and designing automated cybersecurity solutions. This position requires an active DoD Secret clearance, a Bachelor's degree with more than 8 years of relevant experience, and programming proficiency. The role allows for partial telework but mandates consistent on-site presence.

Qualifications

• Must have an active DoD Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain TS/SCI.
• 8+ years of applicable experience; additional related years accepted in lieu of a degree.
• Requires 8140 Cyber Defense Infrastructure Support Specialist compliance.
• Proficiency in programming in at least one modern language.
• Advance understanding of TCP/IP, networking, and security elements.

Responsibilities

• Author and deploy countermeasures to eliminate threats.
• Design solutions for automated cybersecurity services.
• Maintain situational awareness of cyber activities.
• Develop custom integrations to reduce cybersecurity risks.

Skills

Programming in modern languages (Java, Python, Ruby, C++)

Custom malware detection development

Understanding of TCP/IP and networking protocols

UNIX Administration

Experience with DISA and DoD Networks
