Job summary

ITS, LLC. seeks a Defensive Cyberspace Operations Engineer to join our team in the Denver/Aurora, CO area. The role focuses on protecting, detecting, and responding to cyber threats with experience in defensive architectures and SIEM/IDS tooling.

Job requires a BS in a cyber-related field, 5+ years in cyber-defense, and Top Secret/SCI clearance. Salary is substantial, with professional security responsibilities and office-based work in Colorado.

Responsibilities

Consults on IT and cyber defensive architecture and technologies.
Assesses assigned Cyber domain to thoroughly understand the mission, architecture and threat.
Advises on technical design and implementation of Defensive Cyber Operations capabilities.
Research cyber defense technology options for best fit based on mission, architecture and threat.
Design, implement, configure and/or tune Cyber Defense technology.
Authors SOPs, checklists, implementation guides, architecture diagrams, crew binders, etc.
Develop and tune cyber tools and technology like ELK, Kafka, Suricata, BRO, cuckoo, yara, etc.
