Job summary

Aquila Technology is seeking two Test Engineers to support a premier defense research organization. You will join a team specializing in advanced network and communications systems with focus on tactical mobile and military airborne networks.

You will help integrate and test software components in a testbed for space network field experiments, using containers and custom tools. The role requires active clearance, strong scripting and testing skills, and experience with Linux, Git, Wireshark, and

Qualifications

• Active clearance required (Secret or higher); US Citizen.
• 5+ years with Git.
• 3 years network segmentation.
• 3 years NFV concepts.
• 5 years TCP/IP and routing (BGP, OSPF).
• 3 years Python.
• 5 years scripting (PowerShell/bash).
• 5 years packet analysis (Wireshark/tcpdump).
• 3 years Linux.
• 1 year API testing (RESTful APIs, GRPC, YANG).
• 1 year HIL/SIL testing.
• 3 years regression testing & automated test frameworks.
• 3 years test plan development and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Assist integration and test software components in a testbed for space network field experiments.
• Testbed includes containers, custom programs, and graphical elements.
• Develop and execute test plans, document results, and track issues.
• Contribute to automated test framework development and regression testing.
