Job summary
Tactical Engineering & Analysis, Inc. is seeking a Technical Writer to develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation for DoD contracts and the Joint Fires Network.
You will create user manuals, system specifications, integration guides, SOPs, and compelling PowerPoint presentations for reviews and stakeholder briefings. You will collaborate with engineers and SMEs to translate complex concepts into clear content, manage the documentation lifecycle, and ensure adherence to standards
Qualifications
- Experience in technical writing for defense contracting or technology environments.
- Ability to translate complex technical information for diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to lead or coordinate multiple documentation projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage the entire documentation lifecycle from initial draft to final publication.
- Collaborate with subjects matter experts to ensure clarity and usability of documentation.
- Deliver high-impact documentation and contribute to standards and practices.
- Lead documentation projects of moderate to advanced complexity.
- Coordinate layout and visual elements to enhance documentation.
- Work with product, engineering, UX, and operations teams to gather input.
