Job summary

WLG in Norfolk, VA is seeking an analyst to identify emerging technologies and translate them into actionable plans that support military capability development. You will produce documentation, participate in strategy sessions, and help shape the action plan for initial and full operating capability.

You should have a bachelor’s degree in a technical field and at least two years of research/tech information experience, with strong English and comfort using open-source resources.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree from a recognised university in computer science, ICT, engineering or related discipline.
Two years of experience acquiring and interpreting research and technology information.
Experience judging how future technology applies in military environments.

Responsibilities

Identify emerging technologies and catalogue existing ones.
Produce deliverables that develop the technology advantage enabler.
Analyse how it supports each named line of development.
Update vision documents for a shared understanding.
Prepare initial action plan drafts.
Support definition of operating capability.
Build a community of interest and stakeholder engagement.
Report progress to the project manager and sponsor.
