Job summary

Leidos seeks a Principal Supplier Strategist / Small Business Advocate to shape the Defense Sector supplier ecosystem and support critical programs. You will lead supplier strategy, strategic sourcing, long-term agreements, and small business engagement, coordinating with cross-functional teams to improve competitiveness and mission readiness.

The role requires extensive experience in strategic sourcing, supplier management, and compliance with FAR/DFARS, with a use of analytics to drive savings

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 12+ years of relevant experience, Master's with 10+ years, or equivalent experience.
• Experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, or related fields in defense or regulated environments.
• Strong knowledge of FAR/DFARS, and government small business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute Defense Sector supplier strategies for priority programs and captures.
• Analyze cross-program spend, supplier performance, risk, and identify strategic partners and capabilities.
• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to increase competition, improve affordability, and optimize the supply base.
