Job summary

Beyond SOF seeks a Structural Protection and Response Specialist to join a DoD-focused team at Fort Belvoir, VA. You will assess survivability of critical assets, perform structural analyses, and travel CONUS/OCONUS as required to support mission systems and critical infrastructure.

The role requires a Civil Engineering background, experience with defense analysis tools, and an active TS clearance with SCI eligibility. Proficiency in MS Office, especially PowerPoint, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or related field with structural emphasis.
• Experience with DoD/Federal analysis tools or comparable modeling software.
• Knowledge of USACE directives and related regulations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools, especially PowerPoint.
• Active TS clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate the ability of critical assets to survive diverse threats by analyzing structure responses above/below ground.
• Independently determine damage levels required to disrupt or destroy site mission and provide hardening/redundancy recommendations.
• Identify structural vulnerabilities and provide mitigation strategies to protect mission-critical assets.
