Job summary

Hana Technologies and Systems is seeking a Strategist to lead workstreams and advance human-centered design, research, and execution for the Hana Defense Solutions unit. You will partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver mission-focused strategies and client-ready outputs.

The role requires DoD clearance, strong strategic acumen, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable narratives for government and defense clients.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Strategy, Business, Communications, or related field.
• 6+ years’ experience on DoW contracts in strategy roles.
• Must be a U.S. citizen with DoD Secret or higher clearance.
• Experience with human-centered design methods and frameworks.
• Familiarity with government contracting and budget execution.

Responsibilities

• Lead workstreams and drive human-centered design, research, and execution efforts.
• Develop strategic plans, frameworks, and recommendations aligned with client and mission objectives.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative research to understand operational challenges and inform decisions.
• Collaborate with Hana SMEs and client teams to translate technical information into client products.
• Synthesize data into clear narratives, reports, and visual frameworks for leadership and stakeholders.
• Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and strategic planning sessions.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams and attend client meetings regularly.
• Maintain design systems, style guides, and design standards; capture lessons learned.
